The Registrar reports to the Director of Operations and Finance. The Registrar is primarily responsible for maintaining all student records. Additionally, the Registrar supports the school with administrative duties.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Track and report attendance for all divisions via RenWeb student information system.
  • Maintain communication with families of absent students.
  • Maintain accurate permanent records of students’ academic work, including Middle and Upper School transcripts.
  • Prepare transcripts for all students and verify GPA calculations.
  • Process transcript requests from previous students and alumni.
  • Convert older transcripts from AppleWorks to PDF format.
  • Input and maintain student health records into the student information system.
  • Query data from the student information database for reports and data requests. Assist with other database needs as required.
  • Maintain a high degree of data integrity.
  • Cover front desk and front office duties as required.
  • Assist other administrative departments as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to interface and communicate effectively with students, parents and other staff members
  • Working knowledge of Windows and/or Macintosh operating systems
  • Experience with G-Suite (preferred)
  • Experience with Google Apps for Education (preferred)
  • Experience with student management systems (preferred)
