Miami Country Day School, a K-12 school in Miami, FL., announces the hiring of Lindsay George to oversee all areas of technology--IT, data / systems, and instructional. Ms. George has an impressive background in technology administration at the higher education level.
This new position reports to the head of school.
Meet the new leader
Lindsay brings nearly fifteen years of university technology experience to MCDS. She began her career at the University of Miami as a programmer analyst, and from there worked her way up to director, executive director, chief academic technology officer, and finally assistant vice president of strategic initiatives. As AVP, she reported to the CIO and was responsible for developing and driving information technology strategy for the University and University of Miami Health System. That work included the identification and pursuit of strategic partnerships, developing and executing a strategic plan for technology aligned with the objectives of the business, and ensuring timely project delivery and communicating technology change.
