Cutting Edge Episcopal School Brings Innovation and Tech Leader to Campus

Saint Andrew's Episcopal School, a K-8, episcopal day school in Saratoga, CA, announces the hiring of Brett Shapiro to oversee its entire technology program: integration, tech curriculum, IT, and systems. Mr. Shapiro has extensive experience in film, animation, and design, and has worked for the last several years as the innovation and technology coordinator at a K-8 school in the Bay Area.
This new position reports to the head of school.
Meet the new leader
Prior coming to St. Andrew's, Brett was the Innovation and Technology Coordinator at Valley Montessori School in Livermore, CA. There, he collaborated with academic directors on developing spiral curriculum for technology and digital literacy aligned with Montessori educational philosophy, and led the technology committee in designing and implementing a 1:1 iPad program for middle school students. Brett has previously served as a teacher, game designer, and creative director. He has an extensive background in film, media, and arts.
