George School, a Quaker boarding/day grades 9-12 college preparatory school located in Newtown, Bucks County, PA has an opening for an Advancement Data Manager. 

JOB SUMMARY: The Advancement Data Manager reports to the Director of Advancement Strategy and is a vital member of and strategic partner with the Advancement team. She/he plays a pivotal role in strategically overseeing constituent and financial records across the development database. The Advancement Data Manager is responsible for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the database, creating processes and procedures for engagement with the platform, implementing best practices, training database users, managing user-rights, and pulling lists, reports and queries.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, plus two or more years related experience preferred

  • Demonstrated competency with computer skills and database management

  • Demonstrated aptitude for new and emerging technologies

  • Proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications

  • Demonstrated understanding of and appreciation for the development process, specifically including stewardship and donor relations

  • Ability to communicate effectively with constituencies, through written, telephonic and personal communication vehicles

  • Commitment to the Quaker values of peace, equality, service, community and consensus decision-making

  • Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
