We have an immediate opening for full-time Apple Certified Technician at Crossroads School in Santa Monica.

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who enjoys working on computers in a school environment and with a team that supports about 1200 students and 450 faculty and staff.

 

Position Overview
Oversee the deployment, service, and maintenance of all employee Apple device between two campuses. This includes service to: MacBook Pros, Mac Mini, iOS, iMac, OSX, Apple Remote Desktop, Server, Microsoft Office For Mac, iWork, iLife, Google products including Chromebook, Adobe Products. This position requires extensive knowledge of Mac OSX operating system and Mac OSX Server. On a daily basis this person must be able to troubleshoot issues on the fly and find solutions for difficult issues.

 

Essential Job Functions

  • Overall general knowledge of OSX & Unix
  • Overall general knowledge of the Windows OS
  • Apple product repair techniques and skills
  • Proficiency in overall network essentials
  • Printer troubleshooting
  • Tier 1 customer service
  • Mac Server troubleshooting
  • Google products and services
  • Maintenance of inventory

Required Experience, Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Access to Global Service Exchange (GSX)
  • Apple Certified Macintosh Technician Certification (ACMT)

  • Knowledge of JAMF or other Mobile Device Management System

 

Physical Demands

  • Lifting over 50 pounds

  • Ability to climb stairs
