Serve as an application analyst with primary responsibility for developing and or supporting the university’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) and auxiliary systems.  Additional responsibilities include collaborating with customers and project stakeholders, configuring software applications, analyzing and automating processes, and developing scripts or programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Banner ERP System Support.

  • Participate in the design, implementation/development and maintenance of third party auxiliary systems. 

  • Collect user requirements, writing functional specifications, developing test cases, and solutions in partnership with the functional user community.

  • Support project management activities such as developing scope, time estimates, and documenting statues. 

  • Responsible for coordinating application system upgrades, configuration of new software releases, and migration to new systems. 

  • Provide support for other systems analysis, development, and support tasks as assigned. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of two years of related experience.  In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree, a combination of education and experience may be considered.

  • Experience working with relational database technology, including SQL, PL/SQL programming. 

  • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and relationship management skills.

  • Ability to learn quickly, work independently, and adapt to new technologies and processes. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Enterprise Applications in a college or university environment.

  • At least three (3+) years of experience working with Ellucian Banner or a similar ERP System.

  • Exposure to business process analysis and requirement gathering concepts.

  • Experience working with all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC).

  • One (1) year paid professional work experience with Java programming or related programming languages/environments.
