All Saints Episcopal Day School, an Independent School located in Hoboken, NJ, seeks a full-time Assistant Director of Technology for the 2018-2019 school year.

Assistant Director of Technology Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Work under the direction of the Director of Technology to maintain a robust, reliable, and secure technology environment
  • Serve as a point person for day-to-day technology operations issues that affect our administration, faculty, students, and families
  • Participate in the deployment, maintenance, and recovery of computers, iPads, Chromebooks, projectors, network equipment, software, and other technology systems
  • Recommend and help implement new solutions and strategies that improve productivity, learning outcomes, or administrative capabilities
  • Work with vendors and partners to resolve any technology issues that may arise
  • Engage in regular professional development that supports department goals
  • Provide after hours emergency support for critical issues and work on a 12 month calendar schedule
  • Provide AV and video conferencing setups and support as needed, with occasional after-hours support
  • Attend technology team, divisional, and school wide meetings as required
  • Provide ongoing training to staff to ensure adoption and mastery of all new resources
  • Assist with special or ad hoc projects as needed

  • Strong and proven interpersonal skills
  • Experience in an educational environment, especially with small children
  • Able to work independently and in teams
  • Ability to implement enterprise-level solutions in a timely manner
  • Knowledge of current trends in technology and educational technology
  • Ability to engage and support students in meaningful ways
  • Ability to take initiative to define and pursue one's own professional development
  • Experience with Epson projection system and enterprise servers, and networking equipment

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in direct client support
