Cheshire Academy seeks qualified candidates for the position of Associate Director of Information Systems and Academic Technology. Working under the Director of Technology, he/she will act as the technical liaison to academic and administrative departments to oversee the coordination of information systems, provide training and support to faculty regarding the implementation and instructional use of technology in the classroom and be actively engaged in instructional technology trends and their relation to pedagogy and educational best practices.

The qualified candidate must have experience in an educational setting and be able to generate technical proficiency using Student Information Systems (SIS) and Learning Management Systems (LMS). Specific to LMS, the candidate should be able to present a portfolio of work or demonstrate skills related to course content design and integration of innovative digital content.

Professional associations with CAIS, NAIS, NERCOMP or EDUCAUSE are a plus. Experience using and administering Black Baud K-12 (Whipple Hill) products is preferred.

We require 3-5 years of experience in secondary or higher education, working with SIS and LMS environments. A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or Education is desired. A Master’s Degree is preferred.
