Felician University is presently seeking a dynamic, experienced information systems specialist to assist in the administration and direction of the Office of Information Systems. Reporting to the Director of Information Systems, the Assistant Director is responsible for for: project management, procurement and strategic planning.  S/he coordinates and directs team members and third-party consultants as well as managing the daily operations of the student and professional team in the Office of Information Systems. The Assistant Director also plans and develops new systems to address both current and emerging institutional needs.

BA in Information Technology required, Master’s Degree preferred 

Qualifications:

Superior and diverse organizational, analytical and technical skills in the areas of project and process management, systems analysis and design, report writing, systems integration development and maintenance; excellent written and verbal communications skills; comprehensive knowledge of MS SQL, Crystal Reports, Visual basic, MS Office and other applications as needed to create reports for end users on campus and to automate internal (within the information systems) and external (updated or export data to and from the information system) data system functionality; development experience with Java 6 and higher; knowledge of and experience in scripting with PowerShell; ability to establish collaborative relationships with both internal and external partners and stakeholders; high degree of personal motivation, self-management and detail-orientation; ability in meeting responsibilities and making progress without direct supervision; ability to exercise sound judgement when interacting with faculty, staff and other internal and external stakeholders; experience with Ellucian, SSAS and SSRS, SSIS package development in Visual Studio 2010, document imaging system management, with a broad understanding of multi-dimensional databases and reporting.
