Associate Network Administrator

Woodberry Forest School seeks an Associate Network Administrator. The position is a full-time, twelve-month administrative position.

As a member of the technology team reporting to the director of technology, you will:

Support the network administrator in managing e-mail, print, and network servers
Support the network administrator in managing switches and wireless network
Define, configure, deploy ,and troubleshoot PC and Mac computers
Implement and deploy MDM for iPads, iPhones, and Chromebooks
Design and troubleshoot classroom AV systems
Provide after-hours support for critical network issues
Provide end-user support to administrators, teaching faculty, and students
Develop and conduct training to meet the needs of administrators, teaching faculty, and students
Participate and contribute in the life of the school by coaching a trimester sport annually and/or by teaching a trimester-long elective course
Required skills and experience

Bachelor’s degree
Five years of experience in computer and network support
Demonstrable experience with Windows 7/8/10, Mac OSX, Windows Server 2008/2012
A positive attitude and a willingness to work as part of a team
Experience with FileMaker, Google Apps for Education, Microsoft ®Office 365, VMware® , PowerShell scripting and Bradford Network Sentry are pluses.
