Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Information Technology’s school wide events calendar and coordinate the set-up of audiovisual
equipment for all events, including preparation, set-up, delivery, execution and retrieval of
audio-visual equipment.
• Skillfully operate, troubleshoot, diagnose and repair classroom and conference room audio-visual and
videoconferencing technology.
• Provide a variety of support, information, and instruction to students, faculty and staff.
• Perform scheduled maintenance of all audio-visual equipment including filters, bulbs, and software
updates.
• Maintain and document inventory (software, supplies, and equipment).
• Interact with outside vendors to obtain parts, technical support and to schedule maintenance and service
calls.
• Work collaboratively with the IT team on projects outside the job description when the need arises.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years experience providing audio-visual support in a corporate environment,
education, government or home theater business.
• Bachelor's in Digital Media Production or related field or a certificate in audio-visual production or a
CTS certification is preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of methods, procedures, equipment and materials related to the use of
modern school technology. Specifically, Extron and Creston hardware/software, projectors (Epson,
NEC), interactive white boards, screen mirroring (AirPlay, ViVi), livestream equipment, mixers,
speakers and microphones.
• Experience with Zoom and Zoom Rooms is a plus.

• Experience in reading/understanding architecture, electrical, structural & AV systems drawings a
plus.
• Apple/MAC hardware and software experience is required.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft applications, Windows OS, MS Cloud services Office
365, SharePoint, and general knowledge of domain environment.

The ideal candidate with have the flexibility to work day, evening and weekend shifts. Qualified
candidates will have the ability to think and work independently and possess a high level of scheduling
and organizational skills. S/he will have a sense of humor, strong interpersonal skills, customer service
skills and the ability to remain calm and maintain focus in stressful situations. The successful candidate
will be a self-starter with excellent written and oral communication skills, keen attention to detail,
analytical skills and the have the ability to problem-solve.
