Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Technology, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field; four years of experience. Additional experience may be used on a one-to-one basis to offset the educational requirements. The university offers market competitive salary and benefits. Grade EG. Salary range $48,421 - $66,269.

Preferred Qualifications

Higher education experience with a major ERP product, preferably PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Student Financials module. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously with tact and diplomacy. Individual needs to be self-motivated, highly engaged and attention detail is a must.

Three years of Business and/or ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) related experience or an Associate's Degree in a related field and 7 years of business or ERP experience

Position Description

We are seeking a motivated individual to work in the University Bursar Office with a primary focus of the Student Financials Module within Bursar Office systems. The position is expected to collaborate and coordinate with key staff both in the Bursar Office as well as across the university as necessary. This is an analyst position and requires troubleshooting skills, documenting, report writing, training, and the ability to work closely with IT department for projects and system upgrades. Those candidates with experience in SQL writing and the ability to read SQR will be given special consideration. Responsible for providing system support for daily operations of the Bursar Office including system maintenance and ensuring that regular processing cycles are completed on time. Responsible for providing support for Bursar Office interfaces with third party vendors including creation of testing plans, completion of integration testing, and providing signoff prior to implementation. Responsible for coordinating system data management and system security for the Bursar Office. Selected candidate must maintain a strong focus on continuous improvement, researching and recommending new functionality as it relates to Bursar Office systems. Selected candidate must maintain a strong focus on compliance, internal controls, customer service, and participate in development training as it relates to Bursar Office functions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are highly desirable.
