Job Summary

Kutztown University is seeking a technology generalist to provide instructional and technical support for our faculty, students, and staff.  Technical assistance will be provided in-person, over the phone, and through our Help Desk ticketing system.  Qualified candidates can independently research and resolve basic desktop computing issues across a variety of platforms.

Please note the hours for this position are Monday - Thursday 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. 

Minimum Qualifications

Qualified candidates must be able to install, troubleshoot, and support Microsoft Windows 10 and Apple OS X applications, printers, and network connections.  Experience troubleshooting and maintaining instructional technology is also required.  Two years of call center technical support experience, exemplary customer service, and effective communication must be demonstrated.

Exemplary candidates will possess knowledge of the following:

  • ITIL Foundation Certification
  • HP LaserJet printers
  • Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy
  • JAMF Casper Suite
  • Microsoft Office 2013
  • Windows PowerShell
  • Windows ADK
  • Windows Sysinternals
  • Microsoft SCCM

The anticipated starting salary range for this position is $47,883 .
