The Atlanta Academy will be offering Coding Literacy to empower students to become innovators, inventors, and explorers of coding as the language of tomorrow. We will be instructing on JavaScript, Python and more, with exciting hands-on student projects building apps, controlling robots, programming circuits to name a few. We are looking for self-motivated individuals that can communicate well with students as well as parents.

 
Duties:  

     Provide computer instruction to address the needs of 21st Century Technology skills including       

     Programming, Robotics, Web Design, Problem Solving and Algorithm Development.  Applicant should

     be comfortable with programming, such as Java and Python. Experience in both Macintosh and PC

     formats.                              
 

Qualifications:     

B.A. or B.S. Degree
      Demonstrate ability to motivate, work effectively with, and relate to elementary school

students of different age/ability levels and with varying needs

Knowledge of Professional Learning Communities (PLC)

Good organizational patterns and a solid knowledge of content area
Team oriented; history of professional growth; self-directed, self-motivated, and goal-oriented highly desirable
Experience with Google Apps  for Education preferred
Demonstrate ability to work effectively with members of teaching staff, parents, and administration
