Stratford Friends School seeks a full-time associate for communications, marketing, donor database management and event management to support school-wide initiatives as part of a cohesive team. This position incorporates multiple tools — digital advertising, social media, video, photography, copywriting and database management— in an integrated approach. The position provides key information about alumni, parents, and friends of the school that is useful to advancement personnel and volunteers as they cultivate and solicit the community in support of the mission of Stratford Friends School.

Candidate will be committed to become proficient in the use of technology and database entry; understanding digital media tools, integrated media campaigns, social media, photography (i.e. Facebook marketing, Instagram, Constant Contact, Donor Perfect etc.) and website design.  Possess solid writing skills informed by the campaign mission and goals. Work will focus on reinforcing and broadening the appeal of Stratford Friends School’s identity; enhancing its messaging and subject matter expertise as a specialized school that is committed to Friends Values; and delivering a consistent tone in marketing and communications in admissions, advancement, alumni relations, parent relations, staff relations, and student engagement.

Candidate will be committed to work within a diverse community that expects collegiality and open communication. Must have attention to detail, combined with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.  There is the expectation that the successful candidate will attend school events that are after hours or on weekends.
