Job Summary

Provides technical computing support for servers and workstations at all IU Maurer School of Law facilities. Identifies and repairs technical issues; determines user’s computing needs after consultation; makes recommendations on hardware and software packages; installs, maintains, and upgrades computer hardware, operating systems, networking components, and application software; serves as a resource in answering technical questions relating to Windows and Mac based systems. Coordinates all video recordings, supervises a team of audio video operators, and provides support for audio video technology. In addition this position Adds/Removes/Updates user permissions and computing objects in an Active Directory based environment; adds and maintains Exchange resources on client systems.

Required Qualifications

REQUIRED: Associate’s degree in computer science or a closely related field and one year of desktop/network administration experience.

Combinations of related education and experience may be considered.

Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer service orientation. Ability to effectively communicate and exchange information with a wide variety of individuals within a diverse environment. Strong organizational and multitasking skills including the ability to manage multiple priorities.
