Springdale Preparatory School is a new, co-educational, boarding and day school located on 21 acres in northern Maryland’s rolling countryside. SPS seeks qualified applicants for the faculty position of Learning Facilitator in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM), with emphasis on Computer Science, Robotics, and Engineering.

Duties will include, but not be limited to:
  • Developing daily instructional plans for students in computer science.

  • Teaching and supervising students according to class and individual needs.

  • Delivering STEAM-oriented instruction (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics).

  • Modeling how to program and build structurally sound robots; and supporting groups of students in building and programming their own robots.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Education, or a technology content area such as Information Technology, Digital Arts, or STEM-related degree.

  • Classroom experience is highly preferred.
