Computer Science Teacher

Gill St. Bernard’s School, an independent, nonsectarian, college preparatory day school for students from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12, located at an intersection of Somerset and Morris counties in Gladstone, New Jersey is seeking a computer science teacher with a math or technology integration background for the 2017-2018 school year.  This is an exciting opportunity as our computer science and STEAM program expands. 

This position will teach a at minimum 2 sections of Introduction to Programming. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be able to either provide technology integration support, or teach math classes (especially calc), or teach multimedia classes. Ability to teach AP CS A and/or AP Calc a big plus. We have a strong robotics program and an interest in developing physical computing or a HS maker space. If you are a technology integrator looking to expand your CS knowledge this is a position that will provide ample growth.  A candidate must also possess strong organizational skills, a genuine interest in working with and inspiring adolescents, a sense of humor, and the ability to work as a part of a team.  Previous experience and advanced degrees are preferred.
