QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Three years of successful site/district administrative experience
  2. Successful experience and training in educational technology, assessment and accountability
  3. Demonstrated experience in training adults in the areas of educational technology, assessment, and data
  4. Master’s degree from an accredited college or university
  5. Valid California teaching or other related services credential
  6. California Administrative Services credential
  7. Comprehensive knowledge of applicable state and federal testing
  8. Comprehensive knowledge of the latest trends in educational technology

 
REPORTS TO:           Administrator as assigned
 
JOB GOAL:     This position plans, organizes, administers and provides leadership for the comprehensive implementation of educational technology across the district, including professional development, technology integration, and the long term implementation of the district’s technology plan. Additionally, this position plans, organizes, administers, and provides leadership for a comprehensive system of assessment related to the requirements of federal, state and local mandates. 
 
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

  • Provides leadership and support in the development, implementation, and coordination of the district’s educational technology professional development plan; 
  • Provides leadership, support, and accountability in the development, implementation, and coordination of the district’s assessment and accountability program to meet the needs of the district’s diverse population;
  • Plans, directs, supervises, and provides leadership for a comprehensive system of testing and assessment related to federal, state, and local mandates focusing on high standards of student achievement;
  • Plans, directs and communicates the School Accountability Report Card requirements for the district; 
  • Communicates policies, procedures, and information related to federal, state, and district assessments on an ongoing basis to site administrators and district office administrators;
  • Assists in the analyses of federal, state, and district assessment data and the interpretation and reporting of results;
  • Consults with other Educational Services administrators in appropriate uses of test information; 
  • Provides leadership and collaborates with site administration regarding the assessment of student progress and educational program effectiveness;
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

 
SALARY:         $120,750 - $146,533 annually
 
EVALUATION:         Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with the District’s “Improvement of Professional Services” handbook, Board Policies and Procedures and consistent with collective bargaining agreements when applicable.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
 
Some positions may require proof of privately owned automobile insurance and the possession of a valid California Motor Vehicle operator’s license.  Fingerprint clearance by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice is a condition of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met.  Must present verification of completion of Child Abuse Mandated Reporter training or obtain verification within six (6) weeks of hire and annually thereafter, as required by the California Child Abuse Neglect Reporting Act.
