Springmont School announces positions for Data Assistants to Development & Admission, full and part time, to begin immediately.  Data Assistants are responsible for managing admission and development data and reporting for this small independent school.  These positions are also responsible for overseeing database utilization and optimization, as well as capturing current activity in each department and creating reports for the Directors and Head of School.  These roles also serve as support to the Registrar.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Provides prospect research services for the Advancement Department
  • Works closely with Admission department regarding overall process, data gathering and monthly reporting
  • Maintains veracity of data veracity
  • Analyzes and implements information systems
  • Inputs parent, student, faculty, staff organization records and data in Education Edge, Raiser’s Edge, and website portal databases
  • Supports update of facility audit
  • Manages annual survey process for parents and faculty
  • Supports planning of Advancement team, as needed
  • Maintains files and prepares reports including briefing documents for development staff, board committees and Head of School
 
Requirements:   
•           Has a bachelor's degree plus five years’ database experience
•           Is fluent in latest technology pertinent to job duties and is knowledgeable of database
             systems, structure and best practices, particularly Blackbaud
•           Is highly analytical and has an inherent attention to detail
•           Has the ability to understand and meet reporting needs and to manipulate data
