Founded in 1877, Durban Girls’ College is a leading independent Christian girls’ school with a proud history, which offers an innovative, forward looking and relevant education for girls from Grade 00 to Matric.

This wonderful opportunity requires a flexible person with sound interpersonal and administrative skills, a positive attitude and the ability to work on several projects at the same time.  The incumbent will be responsible for the database administration, generation of employee and pupil reports and various statutory report submissions.

The following are regarded as given:

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Skilled data base administrator, including the creation and maintenance of databases
Strong analytical skills
Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel and Access)
A good understanding of and experience in using databases
A team player
The following would be an added advantage:

Experience in the use of a school administration system
Knowledge of, and a flair for, basic desktop publishing
Being a quick learner and having a love of learning new skills
Experience in various reception and switchboard duties
