Greenwood College School is looking for a dynamic team player with exceptional skills to manage our Student Information Systems. Start date: August 29, 2016.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Executive Director, Information & Learning Technology, the Database Administrator will be responsible for the management of our Student Information Systems.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Document and assist with the ongoing development of processes and effective practices related to data management
Produce complex queries and exports in support of various Academic & Extracurricular Programs; including the import of data to systems dependent of these programs
Proactively find solutions for data accuracy, integrity, and efficiency for end users to access
Generate reports related to Ministry of Education and internal requirements
Maintain data integrity within and between related systems
Coordinate and monitor integration of data between database systems (e.g. Blackbaud’s Education Edge and Raiser’s Edge)
Implement new data processes that meets the needs for the organization
Qualifications, skills and abilities

Diploma in computer science, information systems or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
3 to 5 years of professional experience working with a relational database
Experience in an academic setting is a strong asset
Expertise in spreadsheet software is required
Experience in Blackbaud with SAS development and/or creating Crystal Reports is a strong asset
A strategic approach with adopting emerging data systems to meet the need of a forward thinking organization
