The Database Administrator and Prospect Researcher is part of the Benedictine Advancement Team and reports to the Senior Advancement Officer. The Database Administrator is primarily responsible for the utilization, oversight and advancement of the development database (Raiser's Edge). This position is directly responsible for data management, analytics and reporting, and serves as the primary point of contact in the Advancement Department for Blackbaud Raiser's Edge (RE) Gift Entry and Donor database issues and questions. The Database Administrator oversees the process of developing/updating policies and procedures as it pertains to gift tracking, entry, and donor data. The Prospect Researcher provides prospect identification and research/analytics support for Benedictine. This role is responsible for creating concise, accurate, and timely capacity assessments and research profiles using biographical information, financial data, news, philanthropic history, etc. Additional responsibilities include developing research related reports, charts, presentations, and fundraising analytics. The Database Administrator and Prospect Researcher will also assist with various other Advancement needs and projects.
