The Park School of Baltimore seeks a detail-oriented individual for a Database Associate position on the Development Team.  This team member will play a key operational role in entering and maintaining accurate records, processing and documenting gifts, and preparing reports and data exports as needed.  In addition, the Database Associate will work closely with the Business Office and Communications Team to ensure data integrity across other school databases.  The Database Associate reports to the Associate Director of Development.  This is a non-exempt role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage all gift entry and processing in the Raiser’s Edge database, including cash, check, stock, credit card, planned giving, and payroll deduction

  • Provide proper documentation for gifts to meet non-profit auditing guidelines

  • Ensure timely acknowledgment of all gifts for Annual Fund, Campaign, Endowment, Planned Giving, events and other campaigns

  • Coordinate billing for all campaigns on a cyclical basis

  • Provide daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting to members of the Development leadership team and the Director of Accounting

  • Generate datasets, reports, print and digital assets for Development team members, including phoning cards, prospect rating lists, envelopes, and form letters

  • Complete new school year data migrations and imports in conjunction with the Communications Team

  • Execute reconciliation procedures with the Business Office

  • Assist with generating data for the Annual Report

  • Engage in database clean-up projects as directed by the Associate Director of Development

  • Provide onsite event assistance for phonings, Alumni weekend, and signature events

  • Participate in regular training provided by Raiser’s Edge

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Strong proficiency with Raiser’s Edge

  • Strong proficiency with Excel

  • Superb attention to detail

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines

  • Professional, ethical standards for handling confidential information and maintaining integrity of data and reports

  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
