Friends Seminary is seeking a meticulous and accurate Database Coordinator to support the essential work of the Advancement Office. This individual will be responsible for data and gift entry, acknowledgment processing via The Raiser’s Edge and regular database maintenance. This position reports to the Database Manager. Responsibilities

Manage and execute timely entry of all gifts and pledges into the database. Ensure speedy generation of acknowledgement letters, receipts and pledge reminders. Inform families of honor/memorial gifts. Process credit card transactions and matching gifts paperwork. Track and record all verbal and booked pledges for all funds.
Create new records and update contact information; assist with various data management import and maintenance projects.
Under the supervision of the Database Manager and Special Events Manager, assist with registration data entry and RSVP’s. Create lists for event check-in, name tags and guest prospect rating reports.
Work closely with the School’s business office to reconcile reports on a monthly and yearly basis.
Ensure accurate completion of donor files.
Assist with miscellaneous office projects.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent education and experience) with a minimum of one year’s relevant experience.
Support of the School’s mission and core values.
Experience with Blackbaud’s The Raiser’s Edge or other database. Import experience preferred.
Experience with Google applications including Gmail, Google Drive and Google Calendar preferred.
Advanced skills in using Microsoft Office programs, especially in using the mail merge tool and Excel functions.
Outstanding writing and organizational skills. Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
Ability to track and manage multiple tasks and details and meet deadlines.
Ability to communicate effectively, positively and accurately in person and in writing with all constituents in a school environment.
Ability to work independently and produce quality results on schedule.
May require some evening and weekend work, particularly during peak periods (spring benefit, calendar and fiscal year-ends, etc).
