Founded in 1962, Bayview Glen is an independent, co-educational university preparatory school and member of the CIS, CAIS and Round Square organizations. Bayview Glen is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Database Coordinator in our Advancement Office. This position will be responsible for the efficient and effective utilization of the Advancement databases (Raiser’s Edge and Net Directories) and the overall integrity of information in order to support the fundraising and alumni relations activities of the Advancement department. This will involve planning, developing, testing, implementing and managing all aspects of information and system requirements. This position will also be responsible to create, maintain, update and implement a policy and procedures manual to ensure consistent and optimal functionality of the database. The Database Coordinator will report directly to the Director of Advancement.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Post-secondary degree and/or diploma in fundraising, marketing, public relations, event management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working directly with Raiser’s Edge, with responsibility for donation processing, report generation and data exports and imports.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and problem solving abilities.
  • Ability to handle highly confidential information in a discreet and diplomatic manner.
  • Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team within a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with various timelines and competing priorities.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with MS Office and Raiser’s Edge.
  • Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends when required.
