Mount Saint Joseph High School seeks a Database Manager to join its Advancement team.

Job Description:

The Database Manager for Advancement is responsible for managing the Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge systems and processes necessary to support the department. The key components of the position are: record keeping and maintenance, gift entry/pledge processing, fundraising reporting, queries, data clean-up projects, credit card processing, reconciliation with business office, mailing list extraction, creation of mailings and acknowledgments through merging, other administrative tasks as assigned.  There is room to grow in this position with additional responsibilities based on experience.  This position supports the Advancement Office as well as the Office of the President of Mount Saint Joseph High School. 


This position handles day-to-day administrative department activities and acts as an integral and confidential member of the Advancement team. This member should possess:

  • Previous database management experience; Raiser’s Edge experience preferred.

  • Detail-oriented recordkeeping and excellent writing, communications and interpersonal skills. 

  • The ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • The ability to support staff at events and serve as a team player.  Some evening and weekend work may be required.
