Lawrence Academy is looking for a part-time (25 hours per week) year-round Desktop/Network Support Specialist (DNSS) to carry out installation and maintenance of hardware and software, such as operating systems, educational and administrative software, and printers. The DNSS will be expected to help troubleshoot the school’s mostly Windows (7/10/2008/2012) and HP (wireless) network.

The DNSS is also expected to support faculty/students with technology related problems. Experience in desktop/network support and computer maintenance preferred. Experience with Windows 2008/12 Server and/or ProCurve wireless a plus.

Duties Include:

Typical desktop support tasks
Install/upgrade all PC's, laptops, and peripherals, ensuring proper configuration and network connection
Provide direct support for all client side applications/systems
Computer repair and maintenance
Ensuring that all computer hardware and software work properly
Provides some training to faculty/staff.
Troubleshoot network problems
Maintain good documentation
