The Database Analyst is critical to the data management function of the Development Office of a small boarding school in north Baltimore County, MD.This individual will serve as database administrator for the Development Office, responsible for all data input/output as well as problem-solving, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the system. He/she will monitor and proof all gift entries and changes to constituent records as well as coordinate database integration with other departments, and also oversee database use in events management. He/she will train new employees on database usage. This person will also participate in fundraising administration, prospect research, annual AIMS/NAIS data surveys, produce yearly report on giving, constituent relations and other development department activities.

Qualified candidates must be experienced with Blackbaud’s The Raiser’s Edge and database administration. A bachelor’s degree is required. Accuracy and strong attention to detail in basic financial reporting, proficiency with Microsoft office (Excel) and managing multiple tasks is required. An understanding of the fundamentals of fundraising is also essential. The successful candidate should be able to work well independently as well as within a team environment.
