Digital Learning Coaches collaborate with, consult, and coach teachers to improve student learning. Combining the pedagogical knowledge of the teacher and the technical knowledge of the coach, we create authentic, engaging learning experiences for students and provide consistent, embedded professional development for teachers. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technology Integration-work with the section(s) to integrate technology in meaningful ways.

  • Provide leadership and professional development to faculty to maximize their impact on student learning.

  • Identify new and emerging educational technologies

  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional growth and development.

  • Assume other professional responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Technology.

Preferred Experience:

  • An advanced degree in educational technology;

  • Personal Christian faith;

  • Internationally-minded outlook, with a culturally sensitive understanding of other faiths;

  • Four years of classroom teaching experience;

  • Two years of demonstrated success in educational technology;

  • Proven ability as a solid team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude and able to work flexible hours outside of the regular school day;

  • Lego master builder

  • Excellent interpersonal skills;

  • Proven ability as an innovative, organized, results oriented, self-motivated, energetic, creative problem solver;

  • Demonstrable passion for lifelong learning, academic excellence, and responsible world citizenship;

  • Experience in supervising technology program development as well as facilitating its implementation;

  • Ability to lead teachers through the coaching cycle to plan, collaborate, and reflect on student learning and teacher growth

  • Ability to engage in multiple tasks, to lead and inspire individuals and groups and to lead change successfully;

  • Experience with IB curriculum
