The Pennington School seeks an experienced Digital Media Marketing Associate, reporting to the School’s Director of Communications and Marketing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with all publications and media relations needs, including website content creation and updates, press releases, writing for printed magazines and brochures

  • Produce video for website, social media, and special events and projects

  • Photograph School daily life and all special events (some evenings and weekends are required)

  • Enthusiastically promote The Pennington School to prospective families and help to develop community and institutional support by advancing both the mission and the goals of the School

  • Source promotional items as needed

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in communications or a related subject area

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience within an agency, a multimedia setting, or a school

  • Strong videography and photography skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong editing and proofreading ability

  • Fluency in social media content production and analytics, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Snapchat, and more

  • Website skills, including knowledge of HTML

  • Self-starter with a willingness to pitch in where needed

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Excellent skills in PhotoShop, FinalCut Pro; proficiency in InDesign, Microsoft Office suite

  • Ability to work on a wide range of projects simultaneously

  • Good sense of humor

  • Graphic design experience is a plus

This position is full-time, twelve (12) months per year, exempt from overtime, and eligible for all benefits afforded to full-time Pennington School employees.
