Lake Forest Country Day School is seeking an experienced and dedicated Director of Information Technology to facilitate and manage both the strategic and operational administrative and academic IT services and initiatives of the school. The director of information technology sits on the school’s administrative team. The start date is February/March 2016.

Lake Forest Country Day School (LFCDS) is a coed independent day school of 390 students in grades PS-8 located about 35 miles north of Chicago, Illinois. Children are known and loved at LFCDS, and a state of the art facility provides a remarkable setting for inspired teaching, academic rigor, and attention to individual needs. The ideal candidate for this position should be accessible and approachable, have a BA or MA in a computer-related field or education; a minimum of five years of experience in a director’s position; experience in supervision and maintenance of a school or company’s technology systems; strong microcomputer, networking, application, training and troubleshooting background; proven planning, program development, budgeting, implementation and evaluation skills; a background in working with a wide range of business and academic programs; self-motivated, well-organized team player with strong communication skills; and demonstrated ability to lead administrators, staff and students in a school or company environment.
