Responsible for all aspects of the organization’s information technology systems.  Develops the internal IT vision within the overall business strategy of the organization.  Oversees direct reports and external vendors to insure the IT infrastructure, applications and cybersecurity are working efficiently and effectively for all WOL staff and the extended workforce at all campuses/locations. Ensure collaboration between ministry teams. Evaluate the health and success of the ministry and deliver feedback to supervisor. Identify, purchase and maintain all hardware, software including Internet bandwidth/content filter, wireless network, client printers and computers using MAC and PC OS at all campuses/locations. Provide leadership and management for IT services being delivered, including but not limited to, IT infrastructure, IT operations, desk side support, Telecom, business applications and cybersecurity. Establish and implement short and long range goals, objectives, policies and operating procedures for the Technology Department. Some travel between campuses required. Full Time; 40 hours per week.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems (Master's Degree Preferred).

  • Minimum 5+ years current IT networking experience in a Windows Server/MAC/PC environment.

  • CompTIA A+ and ComTIA Newtwork+ certification, Security+ is a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage concurrent high priority projects.

  • VM Ware/Virtualization experience preferred.

  • Proven Office 365 platform and SharePoint experience.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Experience with, and understand of, strategic business planning methods, tools and processes.

  • Demonstrated experience with IT systems and management at a senior level with a sequence of increasing responsibilities in a mid-sized and diverse business setting.

  • Ability to appropriately handle confidential information, refraining from gossip.

  • Ability to resolve issues according to Matthew 18.

  • Aspire to be a Christian role model in accordance with 1 Timothy, chapter 3.

  • Maintain a consistent relationship with God, demonstrating a strong and growing walk with Christ and living a Biblical lifestyle that honors Christ

  • Be personally committed to the ideals, values and mission of WOL.
