Director of the Innovation Center
Browne Academy seeks candidates who will inspire students to meet the challenges of our academic programs, develop a passion for learning, and grow as engaged and compassionate global citizens. The Director of Innovation will be a thought-leader on campus for all constituencies: faculty, staff, parents and students. The position is a combination of teaching, programming, instructional coaching, robotics coaching, and tech-integration. We are looking for a visionary who can inspire and coach faculty, as well as students, to be innovative in and out of the classroom.
Main responsibilities include:
- Direct the Innovation Center and Makerspace
- Teach innovation in K-4
- Assist middle school teachers with technology integration
- Serve as instructional coach for faculty, K-8
- Teach coding, robotics, tinkering, and Makerspace electives
- Mentor and coach middle school competitive robotics team
