St Peter’s College is an independent Anglican Diocesan school for boys and girls from Grade 8 to Grade 12. The school was founded in 1998 to meet the demand for a co-educational high school in Northern Sandton. St Peter’s College offers an integrated and relevant South African high school education.

The College seeks to recruit a Director of Learning Technologies to lead and manage the integration of technology into the teaching and learning process of the school. Candidates who meet the following requirements are encouraged to apply:

University degree, teaching diploma or relevant IT qualification
SACE registered
Previous teaching experience at secondary or tertiary level and a requisite level of IT skills
Current involvement in technology integration at an academic institution and sound knowledge of current trends and best practice in education will be highly regarded
A passion for education and the ability to train and relate to adults and teenagers
Strong leadership, organisational and decision making capabilities
An understanding of complex information and requirements
Good prioritisation skills and flexibility to develop and sustain new ideas
Creative and proactive approach to problem solving
Ability to work to tight deadlines and within constraints
Excellent administrative, communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to obtain Google Certified Educator qualification within agreed time period
Team player
Must be prepared to work outside school hours, where necessary
Prepared to work according to the school’s ethos, specifications and policies.
