Eastern Gateway Community College invites applications for the Director of Student Information Systems (SIS). The Director is responsible for all matters and functions pertaining to the management of data, report creation, training, and data integrity of the EGCC Student Information System, PowerCampus by Ellucian, PowerFAIDs and Microsoft Dynamics. The Director reports to the Chief Information Officer. This position will be based at our campus located in Steubenville, Ohio.

The following description indicates different levels and types of duties that will be required of the Director. It should neither be construed as being all-inclusive nor to limit the director's responsibility to assign, direct and control the work under his/her supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Manage and develop the PowerCampus environment.
· Manage and develop within the PowerFAIDS and Microsoft Dynamics portion of PowerCampus.
· Manage and develop the Self-Service and Portal systems of PowerCampus.
· Manage and develop the integration of the PowerCampus environment with other Ellucian and third party systems.
· Database management of the PowerCampus environment and supporting systems.
· Generate accurate reports from the PowerCampus environment using SQL, Vista Views, and Vista Reports.
· Conduct training on all aspects of PowerCampus, PowerFAIDS, Microsoft Dynamics, and proper use of reporting.
· Create Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access reports
· Assists with the creation and management of the technology budget.
· Travels and represents the college as requested by the Chief Information Officer.
· Participate in recruitment, interviewing and hiring of personnel.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
· A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
· 5 Years' experience working as a professional in a computer field with at least 2 years experience managing a student information
system environment.

· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
· Ability to train personnel in multiple departments.
· Ability to organize, plan and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
· Ability to communicate well, both verbal and written.
· Must possess integrity, enthusiasm, determination and dependability.
· Must be outgoing and people oriented.
