Berkeley Carroll is a Pre-K through grade 12 college preparatory school of 968 students located in the Park Slope section of New York City. Our vibrant intellectual community draws students from all over the city, admission to the school is competitive, and both our parents and students value achievement.

The school is excited to create a cross-divisional position to develop and oversee a thoughtful, comprehensive program in STEAM: Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math. We seek a dynamic and innovative individual who will:

  • Oversee the school's new state-of-the-art STEAM space, scheduled to open in fall 2017;
  • Effectively collaborate with faculty and administrators in the Middle and Upper divisions to create and implement rigorous and exciting STEAM curriculum and programming;
  • Develop and teach academic or extracurricular courses in robotics and engineering

Successful candidates will possess prior experience in engineering, technology or science education; a successful track record in implementing new programs; outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills; the eagerness to work with a diverse range of students, from 5th graders to seniors. A Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
