Austin Preparatory School is seeking candidates for the position of Director of Technology beginning immediately. Founded in 1961, Austin Prep is a Catholic independent co-ed school serving students in grades 6-12. Austin Prep has a talented faculty of approximately 75 who administer a challenging curriculum that prepares students well for success in high school and college. The Director of Technology reports to the Chief Financial Officer.

Austin Prep seeks a dynamic Director of Technology to be responsible for all aspects of the school's technology. The successful director will manage and operate the school's technology infrastructure in a way that continually identifies, develops and implements innovative technologies that support teaching and learning, student life and administrative operations. The Director of Technology will possess in-depth technical knowledge and expertise while providing the strategic leadership, planning and management in all areas of information technology. The director will be a proactive leader, driven to continually develop and improve the technology staff of two full time employees to maintain an organized, highly effective team that operates in an environment of established best practices and processes. As the director will work directly with students, faculty, staff and administrators, exceptional communication and customer service skills are required. The Director of Technology will continually monitor and improve Technology Department operations at Austin Prep to assure that innovative, adaptive, and leading-edge technology is securely, conveniently and consistently accessible to all constituencies of the school.
