Strengthen teaching and learning by developing and implementing the AES technology vision for the use of technology. Promote the innovative use of technology. Lead and support the PreK-12 AES EdTech team in providing an exemplary educational technology program. Collaborate with the administration, division technology facilitators and the PreK-12 EdTech Team to provide high quality technology related professional development for all staff. Create, model and deliver an effective digital citizenship and media literacy program. In charge of budgeting, purchasing and liaising with the Assistant Director of Technology regarding the school’s technology infrastructure and systems. Serve as a members of the School’s leadership team.
Requirements:

An advanced degree in educational technology and a demonstrated commitment to continued professional learning.

Knowledge of curriculum, curriculum development, progressive pedagogy and assessment.

Technical knowledge in the fields of technology education, and the broad range of technologies used in educational environments.

Substantial teaching experience and demonstrated experience in working with teachers in the integration of instructional technology.
