Director of Technology and District Instructional Technology Specialist

Direct and manage the information systems and computer services for the district. Ensure efficient and effective access to information and related technology by all campuses and administrative departments.

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in related field

• Valid Arkansas teaching certificate (preferred)

Special Knowledge/Skills:

• Knowledge of computer network, hardware, and software applications

• Knowledge of e-school and e-rate systems

• Knowledge of computer applications development and implementation

• Ability to manage budget and personnel

• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to implement policy and procedures

• Ability to interpret data

• Successful training of teachers or adults in the use of educational technology

To provide leadership in the development, implementation and coordination of the district's technology curriculum; enhance integration of technology throughout the curriculum; and to promote the effective use of instructional technology throughout the schools.
