York House School is currently seeking applications for the newly created role of Director of Technology and Innovation (TI).

York House School, located in the heart of Vancouver, is one of Canada’s leading independent schools for girls. Founded in 1932 by seven progressive and insightful women, York House provides an outstanding education for approximately 650 girls from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12. Reporting to the Head of School, the Director of Technology and Innovation is the School’s lead in developing and implementing an information technology plan that meets the current and future needs of a dynamic 21st century learning environment. Working closely with the Director of Learning, Creativity, and Innovation, and with the faculty, the Director TI is responsible for setting strategic direction, managing an information technology team, and identifying, selecting, and implementing appropriate technology solutions to enhance teaching, learning, and school operations. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of effectively coaching and mentoring staff, and will be an exceptional communicator, with deep knowledge of the role that technology plays in enhancing outstanding teaching and transformational learning.
