National Cathedral School (NCS) announces a search for a Director of Technology Integration to serve grades 4-12. The position is full-time and begins July 1, 2016. The successful candidate will have demonstrated success supporting faculty integrate technology in service of their curricular goals.
 
Qualified candidates have some teaching background and pertinent experience supporting faculty. Responsibilities include: supervising the LS/MS technology teacher, providing technology integration to 4-12 teachers; designing and/or leading professional development for faculty; supporting the NCS technology curriculum; assessing, using, and promoting existing and emerging technologies; coaching the Middle School Robotics team; and providing library technical support as needed. Additional responsibilities include teaching Middle School Filmmaking and potentially teaching AP Computer Science. NCS promotes a student-centered pedagogy and a developmentally appropriate use of technology that is grounded in a one-to-one iPad program in the Lower School. ISTE standards support the school’s goals of developing technology skills and computational thinking. A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree is preferred. Salaries are competitive, based on experience.
