Job Description

Supervises IT support for senior executive offices, including the president, the provost, the general counsel, the CIO, and others.

  • Manages servers, authentication, applications, network access, mobile devices, and desktop support; coordinates business continuity for essential systems and data;

  • Oversees IT security for supported infrastructure and customers; oversees the management of unit websites and web applications;

  • Advises on technology solutions and facilitates IT purchases; deploys and manages hardware and software;

  • Manages IT projects for supported departments;

  • Manages software licensing to ensure compliance;

  • Recommends, designs and implements future technologies;

  • Supports mobile computing devices for executives;

  • Coordinates with UCF IT and other offices as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and six years of information technology experience.

Preferences

The successful candidate must have excellent communications skills; experience working with executives and executive staff; ability to make independent judgements to resolve urgent and/or critical issues; exemplary customer service skills and deep technical knowledge.
