St Dunstan’s College is an independent English-medium school in Rynfield, Benoni, founded in 1918. From its humble beginnings as an Anglican Parish Preparatory School, St Dunstan’s has grown into a leading independent institution that includes the original Preparatory School, a Pre-School, and a College. The College seeks to recruit a suitable applicant for the following position:

Educational Innovation Specialist

Skills and Qualifications required:

The successful candidate must:

  • Have experience in G Suite administration

  • Have IT skills (essential): MS Office, Office 365

  • Teach Digital Literacy to Grades 8 and 9

  • Have experience of a Learning Management System (Ed-admin is preferred)

  • Mentoring and coaching of teachers

  • Manage the efficient running of the IT department

  • Assist with hardware and software support for teachers

  • Have a strong understanding of the trends in the use of technology in education

  • Research and implement educational pedagogies for 21st Century teaching and learning

  • The ideal candidate must have strong administrative skills, be able to anticipate and resolve problems, be a self-starter, operate independently and be a team player. Crucially, the person must have excellent interpersonal skills.
