St. Mark’s Episcopal School is seeking a creative, organized, team player to serve as an Educational Technologist.  This position’s primary function is to provide support and guidance in technology curriculum development and integration, teacher training, and instructional program design to enhance the student experience. The Educational Technologist will assist faculty members with growing their technology skills and expanding their understanding of how technology can enhance learning and impact each student’s future.

Essential Duties

  • Guide and support teachers, staff, and other “customers” in developing and implementing engaging lessons and programs that support instruction through technology integration.
  • Understand instruction in classrooms and grow technology integration by supporting the current work teachers have in place.

  • Facilitate projects, trainings, workshops, and professional development on current school digital/electronic learning programs.

  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate lessons to students in 5th through 8th grade

  • Work with the Director of Technology to design long and short-range planning of curriculum/technology integration.

Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in education  or a related field.

  • Enjoy working with children and adults and finds joy in helping others succeed.

  • Excellent organizational skills, internal motivation, and the capacity to establish and manage multiple priorities within a complex and fast paced environment.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Independent school experience preferred.
