The Good Shepherd Episcopal School is seeking an Educational Technologist to join a highly innovative technology team. Candidates should be an experienced professional with high energy and drive, excellent listening and communication skills, high-level analytical and organizational skills, and a demonstrated ability to plan strategically. Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Assists teachers in developing, maintaining, delivering instructional resources through technology.
  • Facilitates the integration of technology into the curriculum and as a vehicle for instruction.
  • Evaluates software, courseware, and hardware for potential use in instructional areas.
  • Manages the overall acquisition and implementation of instructional software.
  • Works with grade levels to implement technology into curriculum and grade level website.
  • Assists in troubleshooting technology problems across the campus.
  • Provides leadership and direction for website activities.
  • Arrange virtual field trips.
  • Facilitates video hosting on website.

The following qualifications, while not comprehensive, are those the School looks to find in its next Educational Technologist:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 years of teaching experience using technology
  • Deep knowledge of creating innovating learning environments
  • Knowledge of Apple and Google products
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Educational background to evaluate courseware.
  • Specialized training or equivalent experience in instructional technology preferred
