ROLE of the POSITION

The Educational Technology and Innovation Manager provides the school's faculty, students and staff with technology and instructional support services and resources to effectively integrate technology into teaching and learning. The manager supports onsite, web-supported, and distance education as well as manage all of the School of Nursing's hardware requirements and equipment as needed. The Educational Technology and Innovation Manager is responsible for offering innovative teaching and learning opportunities and continual exploration of new computer-based technologies in the health field. Key constituents are faculty, students, and staff. This position reports to the Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs in the School of Nursing and works collaboratively with the Associate Deans of Graduate and Undergraduate Affairs as well as faculty, students, and staff.

QUALIFICATIONS

This position requires a bachelor degree in Information Technology, Instructional Design, Technology, Education or a related field from a regionally accredited college or university and at least 3 years of closely related experience. Experience in web based education is preferred.

SALARY RANGE

Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent upon funding.
