The Opportunity

Oakwood Elementary School is seeking an extraordinary Educational Technology & Innovation Specialist to join our esteemed educational team responsible for developing, coordinating, and teaching a handson, interdisciplinary curriculum that promotes critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and problemsolving skills beginning mid-August. The ETI Specialist will collaborate with others to implement a systematic STEAM program and synchronize the engagement of project-based learning, design thinking, and inquiry-based experiences that utilize several different forms of tools and technology.

The ETI Specialist will collaborate with teachers, administrators and instructional staff to develop curriculum and specific lessons that integrate technology and information skills with classroom curriculum and instruction. The ETI Specialist will utilize knowledge about current ideas, trends, methods, programs, materials, and equipment for technology integration to ensure optimum instructional delivery.

A Bachelor’s degree or higher, teaching credential, and the specialized knowledge needed for teaching and learning at the elementary school level required. Qualified applicants will have worked in a similar position within an elementary school setting and have 5+ years of experience. Excellent communication skills, experience with younger learners and the ability to expertly collaborate in developing a comprehensive curriculum and brilliant learning opportunities are desired.
