Position Summary

Provide information technology support to faculty and researchers, across the Department of Music and Performing Arts Professions Programs to ensure the appropriate deployment and use of technology resources. Consult with clients on technological aspects of instructional and research-related projects and issues to provide customized state-of-the-art solutions within given requirements/budget constraints and in accordance with University computing and data policies as well as current industry best practices.

Qualifications

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science with focus on Audio or related field

Preferred Education:
Master's Degree in Music Technology

Required Experience:
2+ years Relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must include experience supporting information technology, training, research, and client service in an academic environment.

Preferred Experience:
Experience working in a University/College environment.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Expertise in one or more many of the following areas: PC and Mac hardware and software relating to audio, Network Audio, Video Streaming, Video Conferencing, Video over IP, Virtual Reality, Extron and Crestron programming for advanced A/V systems.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Knowledge of remote application distribution software and Zendesk.
