Pridwin Preparatory School is a leading boys’ prep school situated in Melrose in Johannesburg. It prepares boys for entry into the top high schools in the country. Many of our boys also gain entry into prominent high schools in other parts of the world.

Pridwin is gearing up for a major development as it approaches its centenary. The school is known for its progressive approach to the use of technology in the classroom. For example, Pridwin is one of the very first preparatory schools in the country to introduce Robotics as a compulsory subject.

The successful candidate will be a rather unique individual with energy, integrity and vision, who can competently support the learning programme of the school in a creative and innovative manner. This person will carry the responsibility to support educators in the development of STEAM and PBL in the school.

THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION ARE:

  • A proven ability in the successful application of various technologies in the classroom
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A commitment to promote an excellent standard of teaching and learning
  • A sound and progressive understanding of the South African curriculum and international trends in education
  • Proven competencies in STEAM and PBL
  • Good organisational and administrative skills
  • A proven ability to work constructively with teams.
  • A willingness to participate in the broader life of the school

THE FOLLOWING COMPETENCY WILL BE ADVANTAGEOUS:

  • Ability to coach boys’ sports
